We know you’ve already paid a premium for Beyonce concert tickets in Atlanta, but you may be able to save money on either free or cheap parking near Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Beyonce has four “Cowboy Carter” shows in the ATL from Thursday, July 10 to Monday, July 14.

Fans can check out Beyonce in Atlanta at one of the following four shows at Mercedes-Benz Stadium: July 10, July 11, July 13 and July 14. As an Atlanta local who has parked all over downtown hundreds of times, I don’t want you making the same rookie mistakes when Queen Bey comes to town.

So, you’re looking to park for free near Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Cowboy Carter concerts? It’s possible – but there’s a catch. Street parking in downtown Atlanta typically costs money from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET from Monday through Saturday.

Parking regulations sign indicating 2-hour max parking until 7 p.m. when you can post up for free.

This means it is possible to park for little to no money for the majority of Beyonce’s shows.

🚗 Free Parking Near Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Tour

Here’s the hack: After 7 p.m., street parking downtown becomes free, and the two-hour time limit doesn’t apply. Even better, parking is free all day on Sundays and government holidays.

When I’m headed to the stadium for a concert, I usually plug Spiller Coffee on Mitchell Street into Google Maps. This route takes you past several streets with free parking spots. If you arrive around 6 p.m., pay for one hour using the ParkMobile app (instructions are listed on the signs) and you’re set for the night without spending your lemonade fund on parking.

If you plan to park after 7 p.m., it will be completely free as long as there are no tow away signs. The free parking is first come, first serve, so it also depends on availability in the area.

Plan for about a 10 to 15-minute walk to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Trust me, it’s worth the savings – plus, you’ll get in a few steps before dancing and singing along to “Texas Hold ‘Em” in your ironic cowboy hat.

⚠️ Don’t Get Towed at Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Shows

Before you celebrate your parking win, read the signs carefully. Atlanta loves to throw up temporary no parking signs for big events like this. If there’s an arrow pointing toward your car under a “no parking” sign – don’t park there unless you want your Cowboy Carter merch budget going toward tow fees.

Don’t stress too much. I recently parked for free during the Club World Cup and had no issues.

💸 Best Cheap Parking Options Near Mercedes-Benz Stadium

If you’re headed downtown early for pre-show festivities or VIP packages (or if street parking fills up), here are my tried-and-true cheap options:

  • The Lot (Marietta Street) Near The Yard Milkshake Bar:
My personal favorite for concerts is the lot near The Yard Milkshake Bar on Marietta. It’s in the same area as the College Football Hall of Fame. Usually around $20, but could be slightly more for Beyonce given the demand. Easy pay station and only a 10-15 min walk. Bonus: it’s one of the quickest exits post-show when traffic jams up.
  • Underground Atlanta Garages:
On the opposite side of the stadium, these garages tend to be cheaper than official stadium lots. Just pop “Underground Atlanta” into your Maps app to find them.
  • Avoid the dirt lot across from the College Football Hall of Fame.
Sure, it’s sometimes $10, but it’s in rough shape. Risking a flat tire before the show isn’t worth the extra spiked lemonade or expensive merch at the Beyonce show.

🏟️ Official Mercedes-Benz Stadium Parking for Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Concert Tour

Official lots closest to the stadium are charging $50+ for major events like Beyonce. The closest to the stadium is topping $100. Check exact prices and pre-purchase parking passes via the Mercedes-Benz Stadium parking site or Ticketmaster’s parking options for your concert date.

Atlanta is ready for Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” Tour, and now so is your parking strategy. Whether you’re rocking boots, fringe, or all of the above, don’t let parking kill your vibe before Queen Bey takes the stage.
